This blog is all about finding generous philanthropists who give money away. I thought it would be a good idea to find the top 50 philanthropists in the world and then reveal their contact details. If you’re experiencing hardship there is a good chance that you’ll get money from these rich people.
Unfortunately there is no guarantee that you’ll get help. However, there are many readers who email me to let me know that philanthropists have helped them with financial assistance and to get their life back on track.

Lost home due financial hardship and a fire in 2009. Moved Mom into senior high rise ... lived in home trying to fix it up. Could not do so in time to stop city from ALMOST condemning it. The night before going to court a neighbor ( real estate agent ) and her husband ( his work entails dealing with mold, etc..) said they would purchase home. Went to court with me and they paid the back taxes we owed.
I lived in a motel ..... after fillng out at least 4-5 requests for Emergency help at Social Services. They were either "lost", sent to the "wrong office" (after a friend delivered it IN PERSON at the correct office. Regardless, I never recieved assistance,"tho I am on Disability
Finally thankfully recieved help from SOS in Southfield and JFS in Oak Park. Initially, SOS -- South Oakland Shelter, moved myself, my service dog and moms' cat, into a very nice 1 bedroom apartment. After 7 months their funds ran out ( I paid a portion of that rent tho could not afford to do so alone).
SOS found the apartment complex I have been in now for 2 years. I was not allowed to see it.......everything was rush, rush, rush. Since then, Feb. 2012, I have been in a small studio., where I pay the entire rent, leaving mr approx. 15.00 a week per month.
On Nov. 24, 2013 there was a fire in the room above mine. Everyone on that floor except approx 4 that I know of, were put out. There`s a clause in the lease I learned about when I tried to pay my rent for Dec. My ceiling had caved in from water damage. They would not accept my check TWICE. My caseworker at JFS was with me the second time I tried to give it to the manager here. We also had a meeting days later with the manager and the regional manager of the New York based co. that owns this building. In short, my casewirjer told mr dhe will be s witness to the many untruths given to me.
I WAS put into a one bedroom the morning after the fire......have been using a Red Cross cot...... yet, that VERY same day, the manager called me 3 hours after she had told 11-15 of us to give her our names if we were intetested in possibly moving to their "sister building". I gave my name, so was shocked when she called asking me "when?" and "where will you be moving to?"
Tgere is so SO MUCH more, such as no heat ( over a month) no stove working: the refrig. ruining my food twice.....to the 2nd FIRE!!! last month.....
The SECOND FIRE was two stories above me and over one apt. MORE water leaked down AGAIN: more food ruined.....etc, etc. It is well known the building has many violations that the City of Southfield has ticketed thrn for here.
I have contacted the Fair Housing Commision who have opened a case for me.....especially since management gave nr a Notice to Quit, then called me Jan. 2, 2014 ( 8 days before I was to be out) to tell me they changed their minds; stating I could move back into the studio once they repaired everything..." in about two weeks". Never happened. Plus they refuse to return my calls and/or the women in the office are not giving my messages to them??!??
Mom id in a nusring hone 2.6 miles from me...I do not drive, yet I remain her to be close to her. She will be 94 in May and overall still has her mental capabilities.....tho vascular dementia has started to get some worse. Our family is on the other side of the state.
