ReplyDeleteMy name is Miranda Gurtowski. April of 2010 my two eldest children were taken from me by DHHS due to poor health that caused me to not take care of my house and my children properly. I was drained and tired all the time and had no energy to do anything with my children or clean my house. My Vitamin D level was dangerously low. A few points from being hospitalized. I turned to DHHS for help. They took my children instead of helping me. I turned to DHHS because of seizures and loss of time as well as memory loss.
DeleteI have been through two parenting classes, counseling, medication management, psychological test, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and New Parent Support. Medication management was for ADHD with OCD tendencies, Anxiety Disorder and Depression. My Depression is caused by the peril I have been going through the past 6 years.
My fear is that if I do not get an expensive lawyer that I will never get my children back. At the same time, I cannot afford an expensive lawyer and so I feel like I will never get my children back.
The guardian of my children comes up with excuses why I cannot see my kids. I have not seen my children in 3 and 4 years. I am supposed to talk to my kids Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30pm-7:00pm. That is around 12 times a month. I am lucky if I can get through 2-3 times a month. Their guardian gripes that I am not an active mom and yet when I try to be active in my children’s lives she refuses to let me be.
Now I need help getting my children back from a well-to-do couple. I would also love to go after DHHS for breach of contract and kidnapping my children. When they ripped us apart, they did more damage to the relationship between my children and me than they did well.
Lately I keep getting asked by my two eldest “Mommy when can we come home?” I keep telling them it is a matter of money. Which it is. I need money to move into a place big enough for us, furnish it, set up the home for my children's return, get a family vehicle (since we lost ours in a recent accident) and afford a damn good attorney who will get me my children back. I know this will be at least $30,000.00 if not more. I have been chastised by society and family over the years and have been disowned by family members because I do not have my children back yet. These are the same people who weren't there for me when I needed them the most.
I cannot stress enough how important it is to win custody in the first try. I am tired of crying myself to sleep at night because I do not have my children. So my question to you is can you help me even though you may not know me? If you would like to know more, please feel free to reach out to me. I have been through hell and back for the past 6 years trying to get my children. Every time I seem to get ahead and start making head way something comes up and I must start all over again. I am currently a homemaker with my 5-year-old while my boyfriend works. It is counterproductive for both of us to work when one of our checks would be child care anyways. I am working on creating my own business out of the home so we do not have to contend with childcare. I am a Jane of all trades and mistress of none. I have my Associates Degree in Computer Information Science. My business will be centered around multiple talents of mine. Why focus on one when you can use all?
I may have limitations but I will not let them keep me down or stop me from prevailing. I am trying to show my children that no matter what life throws at you, you do not let the obstacles stay in your way. Don't let anyone or anything hold you down. I try to live by this the best I can. I seem to be in a corner now. I feel like I have hit a dead end and am in an endless circle that I am having trouble getting out of.
Right now, I am willing to do just about anything to get my children back. I miss them terribly and they need their mom. They want to come home and I want them to come home, so would you please help make our dreams come true and help reunite my two eldest with their mom and little sister? Thank you.

This family needs a home of their own more than anything. Elizabeth Hall was recently on the front page of The Columbus Dispatch, (Columbus, Ohio, USA) in an article about slum lords. There was no working furnace in that home, and Elizabeth and her family are now staying with kind neighbors. Elizabeth is a stage 3 breast cancer survivor. During her chemotherapy and all the stuff she had to go through, she said that along with her faith, it was her family that gave her the strength to get well. The sound of her grandchildren playing in the back yard. Her one grand daughter Trinity not leaving her side, just like Elizabeth would not leave Trinity's side during a serious illness as an infant. Knowing she had a grandchild on the way. Her daughter Brandi changing the bandages, getting her to her treatments, getting her medicines. This beautiful woman lives for her family. In the middle of the night while getting the baby a bottle, Brandi fell on the steps and broke her tail bone. And she still goes to work. At their jobs, her daughter Brandi and son in law David make only enough money at their jobs to help pay the rent, and utilities, the expense of going to a laundry mat and hopefully thankfully food. Brandi and David also rely on good people at their jobs, for transportation to and from work. These are such good people. At times when Elizabeth doesn't feel like coming to church, she still instills a strong desire in her grandchildren, Morgan, Trinity, Logan, Jordan, Austin, Miranda, (and soon baby Delilah) to worship Our Good Shepard. And her precious grandchildren all love coming to church. My name is Jodi and while I am able to help them with small things, I pray they get a home of their own. I pray someone like you can help them. I worry because Brandi has been crying more and more. She try's not to let anyone see her but I have caught her. And it breaks my heart.
